Jade Ryane Philly: Calendar

This was such a wonderful idea to show support for Lesa and Clay! I got to hear some amazing musicians and even got to sing a song with them! Thanks to everyone for putting this together!

I couldn't make it to the beginning of the show, but I did get to see the last half of Ryan Keene's release. He has some really good songs and I recommend checking them out! The latter part of the show was when I performed. I sang 'On Broadway' and 'Give Me One Reason'. Marnie sang a few songs and sounded awesome! Can't wait for her CD to release! We also had one of our younger students sing a few songs, Carley, and she sang one of my favorites, 'Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' by Journey. She has an amazing voice and is one to watch out for! After we sang our few songs the band played out the night. It was a good show and I'm glad I was asked to participate!

I had more fun at this show than at any other. There was just something magical about this one. I don't know if it was the new place (my first time singing there) or something in the air, but I will always remember this as one of the best times of my life.
Even though I had bronchitis and Mom was sick and couldn't go I still had a great time hanging out with great people singing great songs. I especially loved the jam session at the end when we all just got up there and sang whatever we wanted! I had a blast!

This was my first live performance of "Words On A Page". I was so nervous to sing something new! I wanted people to like it, and even though I think it's a great song, you can never tell how it will be received in front of a live audience. I'm pleased to say it was a big hit and I got lots of great feedback from everyone. Thank you!

This was a great CD release for Emma Jo & The Poets Down Here! I really like their sound and whole-heartedly support them. This was also a great chance to see some amazing young local talent! I'm glad Lesa let me sing backups for this one. It was a great experience!

I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's performance, and got to hear some great duets. I was a little hesitant to sing "Unforgettable" but it turned out much better than I'd hoped. So many of my friends came, too, which meant a lot to me since I knew how difficult it was for them to make this show. Music is so addicting! I'm ready for the next show!!!

This showcase was so much fun! I loved singing at The Trouser Mouse and I hope I can perform there again. Emma Jo sang backup for me and she was great as always. We actually make a pretty good pair, if I do say so myself! Nerves were not as bad this time, either, or I just ignored them because I was so busy preparing! I had a lot of fun and everyone sounded fantastic!

I had sooooo much fun at this event! I was extremely nervous, though, as my co-workers can attest! I was running around in circles all day long, and basically freaking myself out. But once I got on stage all my nerves vanished and I had fun singing songs I enjoy. I love this stuff!
