Jade Ryane Philly: News

August Showcase - August 13, 2008

Lesa never fails to deliver and awesome showcase! In my opinion, this was the best one so far. Everyone did a good job; the duets and groups sounded great; the solos were wonderful; and Darron Story, our emcee, was the perfect comedian.

There were so many great performances at last night’s show that I find it difficult to choose a few to review here!

I think, perhaps, Darron’s duet with RaeShell was my favorite moment. No rehearsals; their first time singing together on stage, I believe, and their rendition of “Endless Love” was both moving and beautiful.

I also enjoyed Marnie Brodzinski’s performance of “Hallelujah” by Kate Voegele. Marnie has such an amazing voice!

Mike Dale’s cover of Garth Brooks’s “More Than A Memory” was also very moving.

Dianna Redding covered the Fleetwood Mac song “Dreams” and did an exceptional job as well.

The group, Unrelated, consisting of Heather Beth, Miranda Q, and Jacqualine Rose, did a great job singing “Bleeding Love” by Leonna Lewis to close our show.

Thank you to everyone who came and supported us. Your dedication to us and support in all we do means more than words could ever express! Thank you!

Stay tuned for the next showcase!

June Showcase - June 18, 2008

This was yet another great event! The performers were (in no special order):

Heather Neal
Corey Strutton
Jade Ryane
Miranda Q
Stacey Allin
Rick Wayne
Brad Henson
RaeShell Looney
Jacqualine Rose
With Jammin' Jan Lamb on Keyboards and Kansas City's Percussion Artist, Bo.

Sound was provided by Steve McBride of SoundGate Productions, and Fat Finger was our house band.

I must say, I love working with Fat Finger, Jan, and Bo tremendously! It's almost like we were all made for each other and our musical styles blend so perfectly. It is an honor and a joy to perform with them!

Everyone sounded absolutely perfect and confident in their ability. It was a very laid-back setting with lots of room for dancing (and many people did!). I really enjoyed singing at the Trouser Mouse and I hope I get to sing there again.

Please keep watch for my upcoming CD later this year. The next song is near completion, and the rest soon to follow. I will be releasing a three-track CD hopefully by the end of the summer.

Please also keep an eye out for the next showcase! It's sure to be fantastic!

April Showcase - April 26, 2008

Wow! This event was something to see!

The performers were (in no special order): Damon Clyce, Gary Hennrich, Miranda Q, Heather N, Jaqueline Rose, Stacey Allin, Rick Wayne, Emma Jo & The Poets Down Here, and me. Our house band was Fat Finger featuring Jan Lamb from Platinum Express on keyboards and percussion artist "BO". Sound was provided by Steve McBride of Soundgate Productions.

Everyone did an exceptional job AND had fun. There were a few sound problems, but everyone overcame them and continued their performance. Good job!

The Gallery was packed! There was no place to even stand! It was great to see so much support for our local artists.

Please check my links page for new links to some of these performers, and the Reviews page for a few of the comments we have received from fans.

Thank you to everyone who came to the show to support me and the other amazing performers!

Please keep watch for the next show!

Directions to April Showcase - April 18, 2008

Hi everyone!
Here are the directions to the show.

Take I-35 N to Exit 233A Mission RD
Turn left at W 43rd Ave
Turn right on Holly St
Turn left on 44th St
The Gallery is at 44th and Madison

The Gallery and The Point are neighbors to each other, so if I ever perform at The Point these are the same directions. Please come early because parking is very limited (and there are all those pesky one-way streets). The Gallery serves drinks only, but The Point serves food, too, and is just across the little terrace out front. You’ll see when you get there. There is also a small dance floor at The Gallery in case you feel like dancing!

See you there!

Upcoming April Showcase - April 1, 2008

I just wanted to let you all know that my next concert date is set. It will be April 25, 2008 at The Gallery in Westport at 8:00 PM. I will send out directions via the email listings as the date gets closer, so if you have not added your name to the email list please do. More details will be listed here as I receive them. I will be singing three cover songs and one original since my next two are not recorded yet. However, I hope to have them done for the CDs I will be selling at the venue. See you there!

March Showcase - March 27, 2008

Hi everyone! The March Showcase was amazing! Everyone did such a great job and the sound was dead on. If you were there, you know what I mean! If you were not there, why? Just kidding, but you can catch the next one in April. More details as I receive them...
